About Self-discipline<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Created in 2023, Self-Discipline is a solo project, a materialization of my musical influences and my life path, materialized by the production of a first EP, \u00ab\u00a0otherness\u00a0\u00bb released on Coups de Couteau label on march 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My main inspirations come from Indian folk (traditional songs and instruments : tumbi, santur, dhol, tablahs, harmonium, sitar, tampura, etc.), the heaviness and aggressiveness of metal and a radical change of mindset exploited by daily meditative practices initiated by a therapeutic process. All combined, forms a music with many influences that conveys a message of hope, love and self-love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The notion of spirituality (Oriental philosophy), sometimes underlined by certain parallels with modern science, is omnipresent in the lyrics addressing themes such as the identification of our emancipatory and liberating values, self-discipline, self-knowledge or even inner freedom.

Accessing these different states of consciousness leads to better
knowing oneself, overcoming one’s own limitations and cultivating an inner discipline to achieve greater clarity of mind.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Lyrics and compositions come together around deep philosophical and spiritual themes that highlight the connection between the individual and the universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thus, these songs offer a holistic perspective on one’s own place in the world, highlighting ideas of connection, observation, awareness and intention that come together to form a musical experience rich in profound meanings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was also important to address the observation of nature and cosmic cycles, inviting contemplative reflection on our environment and our place in the world, the power of intention, personal development, highlighting the link between thought, intention and reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Self-Discipline seeks to inspire its audience to reflect on their lives and find a path to personal and spiritual growth.

Since its beginnings, through its unique and profound approach, Self-Discipline has spread a message of love, personal growth and inner freedom through its vibrant and inspiring music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
